We love our Trane Chillers at Airvision!!
What we love even more is picking up a new site with an RTHC that has been un-touched for many years, because we know there are many hidden gems (rust) under that lagging…
This RTHC was built in 2000, & was one of the many with Steel oil lines incorporated into the Gas Pump setup…
Our first inspection revealed pretty much all the Gas Pump lines were heavily corroded, & some sections actually weeping oil… Just look at that RUST!!
Collaborating with our pro-active customer, we proposed a full upgrade…
- New Gas Pump, check-valve & solenoid valves
- Install modification as per the latest Trane revised guidelines
- Removal of all STEEL lines & replacement with COPPER lines
- New liquid level chamber & level sensor
- New oil isolation valves, cold filter & oil filter
- New oil charge
- Completely new power contactors in the starter panel
- New load & unload solenoid stems & coils
- A multitude of new OEM o-rings
- All new refrigerant sensors & water sensors
- A total wash down of all those years of dirt & dust
Once this Trane RTHC passes all Airvision standing nitrogen pressure & evacuation tests, a fresh layer of ArmaFlex & a coat of paint will see it almost new again!!
All of these works have been completed by AV’s highly skilled & detail orientated Aedan Whyte.
