Trane CVHG – 1st Stage IGV Inspection
One of our favourite tools in the AV Chiller workshop is our R123 recovery unit!!
You know when this old school beast comes out, there is about to be some serious Chiller work going on…
We are currently recovering the entire R123 charge – a lazy 906kgs from this Trane CVHG – 3700 kWr chiller… something that can never be rushed… especially when it comes to vapour time!!
The 1st Stage IGV’s don’t appear to be happy, so out with the refrigerant, off with the suction elbow & then into the IGV’s.
All this work is being done by one of AV’s Senior Chiller Technicians, Blake Haustead… but under the guidance & very experienced eye of Nihal Wickramaratna.
